Great music is destined to migrate.  Such is the case with the string band music from Transylvania that now can be found outside of Romania in such countries such as the United States.  It is a sincere form of appropriation that pays homage to a beautiful art form.  There is something more basic and human about music that transcends all boundaries -- ideological, geographical, and political -- that brings people together.
